The Bank of America Tower at Parkside, a $433 million high-rise rising in Uptown Dallas, is approaching a key construction milestone this week as developers prepare to top out the 30-story structure.

Once completed, the tower is expected to become a defining feature of the area across from Klyde Warren Park, reinforcing the neighborhood’s growing identity as part of the region’s emerging financial corridor often referred to as “Y’all Street.”

Construction Reaches Final Structural Phase

Pacific Elm Properties CEO Billy Prewitt confirmed that crews are scheduled to top out the building later this week. Concrete has already been poured for the roof and final floor, marking the completion of the tower’s primary structural frame.

The development team noted that progress is slightly ahead of schedule, with completion still targeted for March 2027.

The project was previously viewed in mid-March, when construction had reached the 24th floor and window installation was underway.

A Landmark Project in Uptown Dallas

Designed to stand out in the Dallas skyline, the tower is expected to rise 445 feet, making it the tallest building in Uptown upon completion. It will surpass the current record holder, the 23Springs tower on Cedar Springs Road, which stands at 399 feet.

The site offers direct views of downtown Dallas and sits just steps from Klyde Warren Park, strengthening its visibility as a future landmark in the district.

Major Backing and Design Team

The project is being developed by Pacific Elm Properties in partnership with the Miyama family, who owns the land. Financing support is provided in part by Sixth Street Capital, based in San Francisco.

Architectural design is led by Kohn Pedersen Fox, while landscape architecture is handled by the team behind Klyde Warren Park, OJB.

Bank of America Anchors the Tower

Bank of America will serve as the primary tenant, occupying more than 238,000 square feet across floors 19 through 27. The company plans to relocate approximately 1,000 Dallas employees into the building by the end of 2027.

The financial institution’s presence is expected to play a central role in establishing the tower as a major corporate hub in Uptown.

Texas Stock Exchange Eyes Additional Space

The tower may also house the Texas Stock Exchange (TXSE), which plans to install an electronic stock ticker on the exterior of the building.

However, the arrangement includes conditions allowing TXSE to exit its lease without penalty if certain requirements are not met, including approval from city officials for the ticker installation.

Amenities and Building Features

The Bank of America Tower at Parkside will include a range of high-end amenities designed for modern office tenants, such as:

  • A 12th-floor sky lobby
  • Golf simulator
  • Four outdoor terraces
  • Coffee and cocktail bar

The building will also feature 10 above-ground parking levels and seven underground levels, along with approximately 7,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space.

A New Addition to Dallas’ Skyline

As construction advances toward completion, the Bank of America Tower at Parkside is positioned to become one of the most recognizable additions to Uptown Dallas, further shaping the district’s evolution into a key financial and business center.
