Frisco Finalizes 2026 Town Council Election Results

The Town of Frisco has finalized the results of its 2026 regular municipal election after counting absentee ballots from uniformed and overseas voters and completing required ballot-signature verification.

Frisco had 2,283 registered voters, and 807 valid ballots were cast in the election. Because there were four open seats on the Town Council, each ballot allowed voters to select up to four candidates.

Four Council Seats Filled

The seats contested in this year’s election were previously held by Elizabeth Skrzypczak-Adrian, Andy Held, Robyn Goldstein, and Zach Ryan.Under the town’s election structure, the three candidates with the highest vote totals receive four-year terms, while the candidate finishing fourth secures a two-year term.

Based on the certified results, the following candidates were elected:

  • Andy Held — four-year term with 388 votes
  • Elizabeth Skrzypczak-Adrian — four-year term with 337 votes
  • Robyn Goldstein — four-year term with 317 votes
  • Thayer Hirsh — two-year term with 285 votes

Why One Seat Carries a Two-Year Term

The two-year term stems from the February 2025 resignation of Councilmember Andrew Aerenson, whose original term was scheduled to run through April 2028.

In March 2025, Zach Ryan was appointed to fill that vacancy. However, state law and the Town Charter require council terms to remain on their regular election cycle. As a result, the seat had to be placed on the ballot in April 2026 for a two-year term, which will run through April 2028.
