The sprawling North Texas mansion originally built for Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders has officially offloaded to a new buyer after spending over a year on the market.

Situated at 1400 Copper Point Drive in Prosper, the massive 29,220-square-foot luxury estate closed in late July. The property’s final list price stood at $4.995 million—a price drop from its initial $5.5 million tag when listing agent Heather Stevens of The Agency Frisco first put it on the market in April 2025.

Strategic Land Sales and Property History

Sanders, who currently serves as head football coach for the University of Colorado Boulder, commissioned the custom residence back in 1999 during his tenure with the Dallas Cowboys. He originally sold the property alongside 109 surrounding acres in 2014. Developers subsequently transformed the vast majority of that acreage into single-family residential neighborhoods and commercial retail spaces, leaving the mansion on a refined six-acre lot.

Records reveal that the seller, Preston Investment Group LLC, provided a $3.92 million mortgage to the new buyers, married couple Ervin Singh and Pooja Sharma.

Though an investor acquired the home in 2022 with intent to renovate, those plans never materialized and the house remained unoccupied. As a result, Sanders remains the last person to actually reside in the home. Local tax authorities at the Collin Central Appraisal District recently appraised the real estate at nearly $5.3 million, though a formal tax protest is slated for later this month.
