After winning the toss, Chandpur Super Kings elected to field first and justified their decision with a controlled bowling display that restricted Rajshahi Royals to 153/9 in 20 overs. They then chased down the target comfortably, reaching 154/4 in 18.1 overs with 11 balls remaining.
Rajshahi endured a shaky start, losing three wickets for just 22 runs inside the opening five overs.
