During the week of January 5, the Plano East Senior High School Speech & Debate Team competed at the Class 6A University Interscholastic League Congress State Championship in Austin.

Plano ISD is proud to announce that Plano East Senior Aakash Arulkumaran finished in 6th Place in the state! Aakash competed in his third UIL State tournament, advanced to the final round for the third time and placed in the Top 6 for the second time!

In addition, Ashraf Kuzbari was a qualifier for the state tournament.We are Plano ISD Proud of these students and congratulate them for their impressive accomplishments!
