Share

Frisco ISD students preparing for the 2026–27 school year will have access to a broader range of courses and learning opportunities, including new high school offerings and online options through the Frisco Flex program.

High school students can explore career and technical education (CTE) courses, dual credit opportunities through Collin College, and specialized programs such as Navy JROTC and International Baccalaureate (IB). New courses include Turf Grass Management, Practicum in Law, Multivariable Calculus, and Sports Medicine II, providing hands-on experiences and college-level learning.

Middle school students also have expanded options, with electives in AVID, Digital Graphics & Animation, Engineering Design & Innovation, and fine arts. Rising sixth graders can select from art, orchestra, band, choir, or theater arts, while older students can explore introductory CTE pathways and student aide opportunities.

Important dates for course registration include the CTE Work-Based Learning application window from Dec. 12, 2025, to Jan. 16, 2026, Rising 6th Grade Night on Jan. 13, and the district-wide registration deadline on Feb. 12, 2026.

Frisco ISD encourages students and families to review the course catalog and consult with counselors to ensure schedules align with academic goals and career pathways. With these expanded offerings, students have more flexibility than ever to tailor their education to their interests and future plans.
