Mirchi Indian Cuisine, located at 12255 Teel Parkway, Frisco, received a score of 21 during a reinspection by the City of Frisco Health Department on November 14, 2025. The report identified multiple violations related to food safety, hygiene, and facility maintenance.

Inspectors observed yogurt containers held at unsafe temperatures of 45°F to 48°F, prompting disposal and review of cooling procedures. Sauce bottles on the cook line were soiled, and unlabeled chemicals were found near food preparation areas. Six kitchen staff members lacked food handler certificates, and temporary measures were in place for handwashing due to missing mounted soap dispensers and malfunctioning paper towel holders.

Additional violations included food stored directly on the floor in the walk-in freezer, accumulation of debris on equipment and vented hood filters, missing or broken light shields, damaged floor tiles under the fryer with standing water, and a leaking preparation sink pipe. Management was instructed to correct these issues, update standard operating procedures, and submit documentation regarding bar operations and allergen signage.

Health officials emphasized that proper food handling, hygiene, and facility maintenance are critical to ensuring customer safety.
